Last week we welcomed Derby-based charity Myaware in to the Stables.
Myaware is the new name for the Myasthenia Gravis Association. Established in 1976 the charity’s aim is to support individuals and their families who have been diagnosed with myasthenia, a little known yet severe muscle weakening disease. The charity also works hard to increase public and medical awareness of the condition and raise funds for research and support staff.
Our visitors opted for our hot buffet, consisting of some lovely local Wallers chipolatas and a rather scrummy (if I do say so myself) cheese and pea tart.
All in all it was a lovely afternoon. To find out more about the charity, visit their website: http://www.myaware.org
